Sustainability: not endangered but relatively expensive.

Because of its very striking grain pattern, Acacia is commonly used for household items such as salad bowls and dinner ware sets. It does actually make a particularly durable wood floor, but because of its wild grain, most floor manufacturers tend to either stain it or fume it. Not a species that is currently particularly sought after in the UK.
